You decide to ask others in the team if they know what Joan’s problem might be. You wonder if she has a drinking problem, a family problem, a mental health problem or a real illness.
You talk to three of the team who are chatting at lunchtime. They seem hesitant to talk, but one finally admits that she had see Joan speeding in a car early that morning, saying that it looked like they were heading towards Cardiff.
“I don’t know about her mental health, she could have just been drunk – anyway, she looked like it”
