JFI Research is part of JFI Learning Village ~ The home of The Quantum Era in Professional Development™
The Village is my learning ecosystem, a virtual space where my private research meets my client practice. I offer consulting, academic teaching and excellence assessment across higher education and organisational development. Built by a human for other humans, at a point where automation and advancing technology risk deskilling the very attributes that make us valuable at work.
My name is Józefa Fawcett and I work in professional development and organisational capability.
For 24 years I have built a portfolio of work across 43 countries, five continents and 19 industries, spanning higher education, government and business, through every major shift in how organisations build and keep capability.
I am now positioning that work around the next transition, from the Digital Era to the Quantum Era, specifically focusing on the gap between the pace of technological change and human adaptation.

Twenty years of European Commission-funded projects, running alongside everything else, will do something to how you think.
I’ve worked across Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig and Erasmus+, as project manager and as adviser, with partners in Norway, Latvia and Austria.
I’ve been in enough transnational rooms to know what actually transfers into practice across cultures and contexts. And what just looks good on paper.
My work is underpinned by three research questions covering 2026 to 2030. They’re not decorative. They shape my consulting, course design, assessment work and what I choose to write about. If it doesn’t connect back to one of these, I don’t take it on.
This framework informs my work leading the Blueprint for Glocalised Scalability of AI in Higher Education, within the ICDE Technology Innovation Network, and my CPD-accredited Leaders Who Listen online course. It also shapes how I approach assessment as a Recognised Excellence Expert™.
Over the last decade a lot of professional development has become purely transactional. Automated systems, AI-generated content. Functional, but cold. Mine works differently. Every piece of learning content I create comes from my own experience, my own research and my own thinking. Not a cloned voice, not a quick-fix checklist.
I’ve worked with global corporates, academic institutions and independent professionals across 43 countries. The work tends to sit where leadership meets capability, helping people lead more effectively and build organisations that hold up under pressure.
I provide consulting, excellence assessment, coaching and facilitation, alongside online learning and podcasting. Some resources are free. Others are premium and CPD-accredited.

The first, R.E.A.L. Empathic Learning™, explores the practical skills needed to build strong, empathic working relationships in teams.
Quantum Meets Humans: R.E.A.L. Human Adaptation in the Quantum Era™ is in progress, taking the same framework into the questions above. Little Playbooks™ will follow, one for each element of R.E.A.L., breaking it down into approaches you can actually put to work.
